After the Twins struck first in the first inning with a single run the Bengals responded in the second with 3 of their own. Bengals starter Nav Sidhu gave the Bengals a chance to win, but the bullpen could not hold the Twins offense down as they scored6 late runs and the Bengals bats went to bed after the 2nd inning. Twins starter Stu Kingston went the distance for the win.
Final Score: Twins 7 - Bengals 3
Another back and fourth affair saw the Bengals down 4-3 after 4 innings. The bats responded with 3 runs in the 6th inning to take the lead, but the Twins came back with 4 runs in the bottom half of the inning. The Bengals scored once more in the 7th but could get over the hump. Cody Ireland went deep and Costley, Amendola and Scarcelli had multi-hit games.
