Craig Rattos got the start and did not disappoint as he held the Giants to 2 runs over 5 innings. The Bengals offense was lead by Rob Phair, who hit a 2 run HR and Matt Lapointe. Lapointe came in and pitched a scoreless 6th and 7th inning for the save.

The Bengals scored 3 quick runs in the first inning for starter Dexter Chu. The Giants countered with 4 runs of their own in the first inning of Chu after a few errors proved costly. Chu kept grinding and got in a grove, but before the Bengals could make anymore noise, the rain poured and complete the game after the 4th inning.
